The Vintage Collector’s Bag
(re)vision society x Nigel Cabourn
Numbered Limited edition - Made in Birmingham, England
The Vintage Collector’s Bag is a limited edition collaboration between (re)vision society and Nigel Cabourn. Crafted from French workwear fabric from the 1940s, only 60 pieces of this bag exist worldwide.
The bag can be worn three ways as a tote, rucksack or over the shoulder satchel. It features a zip fastened opening and a leather buckle strap adjuster to help support the removable straps on the shoulders. A detachable pouch on the inside of the bag is suitable for stowing small items such as a mobile phone, keys and pencils etc. The bag is lined in deadstock cotton drill which was made for the British Land Army uniforms in World War II.
The leather used on the handles and straps is vegetable tanned sourced in the UK. Leather labels are made from offcuts of leather collected at the workshop Taylor Kent and Co in Birmingham where the bag was made.
Each bag is unique and may vary slightly from the image provided. The colour and size of the leather story label inside the bag may differ from the one shown due to the unique nature of the making and sourcing process. Each bag is embossed with a series number of 1 to 60 showing its limited edition and comes with a certificate and instruction card.
